Just to let you know, our pool sessions are changing, we now use Quantock Lodge pool at Over Stowey one Sunday afternoon per month, the next session is on Sunday August 15th 12.30 until 4.30pm.
If you'd like to join in call to book your space, £7.50 per hour with own kit or £10 if you need kit.

We're running a rescue skills circuit in the pool ( Queens College in Taunton ) this Wednesday 19th May 2010, all are welcome, start time 7pm until 8.30pm cost £7.50 per head for the hour and half, contact Les 07958320322 or Kelly 07958320301.

If you need equipment / kit hire, let us know in advance.

We're also running a rescue course in August, and this taster will give you an idea of what being a rescue diver is all about.

We're headlng off to Brixham Breakwater Beach on the ( Saturday ) 15th May for night dive, aiming to get there for 6pm high tides around 7.30pm.

Be great to see you all there having apre drinks on the way home possibly the Penn & Quill at Newton Abbot.

Just to let you know that we have a Rescue Diver course running in August, if anyone would like to join it.

For exact dates, and to book your place, all you need to do is send us an e-mail (polarbeardiving@aol.com), or give us a call (07958 320322 - Les, 07958 320301 - Kelly).

We'll run the course at either Babbacombe or Brixham.

All I can say is wow what a fantastic day we had down in Plymouth, and what a great boat Discovery Diver's at Fort Bovisand have in "Red Alert".

We had calm seas out to the Scylla wreck, kitted up, and jumped into the water. Descending down the bow line we came down to around 11 metres and could see absolutely everything. The visibility was amazing ranging from 8 to 10 metres, and the wreck was covered in fantastic soft and hard corals. We dropped down the side of the bow to the sea ...
